Kendriya Vidyalayas across the country will be conducting the final examinations for students of cases 3 to 11 from March 1 this year.

The schedule for the final or term-end examinations have been released by Kendriya Vidyalaya today. The final exams for students of classes 3 to 11 will be conducted from March 1, 2021, as per the official schedule released today.

As per the notice released by KV, the final exams for the students of classes 3 to 11 for the academic session 2020-21 will be conducted in both online and offline mode this year, given the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic situation.

Apart from the schedule of the exams, the paper pattern and the mode of conduction of the exams have also been revealed by Kendriya Vidyalaya. The official notice states, “Offline only for those students who don’t have access to devices or connectivity related issues.”

As per the official notice, the results of the examinations will be announced by March 31, 2021. Students who could not clear the examinations will be given a chance to appear for the supplementary exams which will be conducted after April 20.

Kendriya Vidyalaya final exam paper pattern

As per the paper pattern released by Kendriya Vidyalaya, the exams for students of classes 3 to 5 will be 40 marks and, the paper will have MCQs of 10 marks, 15 marks weightage to descriptive, oral questions.

For the students of classes 6 to 8, it will be 80 marks paper of MCQs- 25 marks, descriptive- 40 marks, and oral- 15 marks. The question paper pattern for classes 9, 10, 11, and 12 will be the same in all Kendriya Vidyalayas.

As per the schedule released by KV, the oral examinations for the term-end assessments will be held before the commencement of the session ending the exam. The official notice states, “Whenever there are major connectivity issues, the oral test component can replace the entire written test.
