Bigg Boss 13 winner Sidharth Shukla died of a sudden heart attack on Thursday, September 2. He was 40 years old. His tragic and untimely death has left many celebrities and fans heartbroken. His funeral will take place at 12 pm today, September 3. The actor's body will be handed over to his family and taken to his Oshiwara home in Mumbai. Sidharth Shukla will be cremated in Oshiwara. The preliminary report or post-mortem report is yet to be shared by officials. The funeral was earlier supposed to happen at the Brahma Kumaris, but because of permission issues, it will now take place in Oshiwara.
Meanwhile, the ambulance has reached the Cooper Hospital in Mumbai to carry Sidharth Shukla's body for the final rites.
SIDHARTH SHUKLA'S DIES AT 40
Sidharth Shukla breathed his last on September 2. The actor’s body was taken to Mumbai’s Cooper Hospital after he suffered a massive heart attack. He had felt uneasy the previous night and taken some medication before going to sleep. However, he did not get up in the morning. His mother, Rita Shukla, tried to wake him up and called his sister, who lives in the same building, when Sidharth did not respond. The doctor was called and declared Sidharth dead. His body was then brought in an ambulance to Cooper Hospital in Mumbai.
Sidharth was very particular about his exercise and meditation. He would work out for 3 hours every day. Sources revealed that doctors had asked the actor to go slow on his exercises.
SIDHARTH SHUKLA'S POST-MORTEM
Sidharth Shukla's post-mortem was started at 3.45 pm on September 2. The post-mortem process was recorded on video with two cops from Mumbai Police present as witnesses. A team of five doctors conducted the post-mortem and double-checked everything. The post-mortem took place for more than 3 hours. Doctors are now working on the final report.
POLICE TO RECORD STATEMENTS OF SIDHARTH'S FAMILY MEMBERS
For now, Sidharth Shukla’s family has not raised any doubts of foul play. However, once the actor’s body is handed over to the family, his final rites will be performed. The police will then start taking statements of family members. If family members or any other person raise any doubts, the police have said that they will consider it and conduct the investigation accordingly. They will also investigate whether Sidharth was taking any medications.
