Pakistan spinner Shadab Khan has hailed pacer Hasan Ali for taking 10 wickets and helping Pakistan whitewash South Africa 2-0, saying that "electricity is temporary and generator is permanent".

Playing in his first match after June 2019, Hasan Ali came all guns blazing to help Pakistan whitewash South Africa 2-0 after winning the Rawalpindi Test by 95 runs. The pacer took five-wicket hauls in each innings of the Test and was adjudged Man of the Match for his stellar performance with the ball .

After Pakistan got all-out for 272 in the first innings, Hasan Ali ensured a 71-run lead by getting breaking into the South African top-order. The 26-year-old changed the course of the game again on Monday.

Chasing a target of 370 runs, the visitors had ended Day 4 of the Test on a solid 127 for 1. Hasan Ali dismissed Faf du Plessis early in the morning. However, a partnership between centurion Aiden Markram and Temba Bavuma saw the Proteas reaching 241 runs for the loss of just 3 wickets.

Hasan Ali came to Pakistan's rescue again and removed Markram before sending captain Quinton de Kock back in the pavilion. The strike was good enough to put the South African side completely on the back seat.

Spinner Shadab Khan has now come up with a tweet and hailed Hasan Ali in an unique fashion. In a tweet, the star spinner has said that "electricity is temporary but generator is permanent".

Hasan Ali did not feature for Pakistan in any format after the World Cup 2019 match against India. His poor form and back injury also saw him lose his central contract.
