Cyber-attacks on Indian enterprises:

According to the Data Security Council of India (DSCI) report, India is the second most affected country for cyber-attacks between 2016 to 2018. The instances of cyberattacks on Indian enterprises surged by 117 percent in 2019 over the previous year, as per PWC study.

As India is home to many IT companies and serves the operational needs of several global companies, there is an urgent need to reconsider the strategy and resolve the discrepancies in the demand and supply of cybersecurity professionals. A cybersecurity certificate through these newly launched programs will help bridge this gap.

The industry reports indicate the Indian Artificial Intelligence market is valued at USD 6.4 billion as of July - August 2020. This will lead to an increase in demand for a new breed of talent and offer myriad opportunities for professionals who want to pursue a career in AI & Machine Learning.

"Our programme on AI and Machine Learning is designed to create a skilled base of artificial intelligence professionals for a wide variety of Industry applications like Healthcare, Supply Chain, Intelligent Cybersecurity amongst others," he added.
